Disaster Risk Reduction Analyst

As a Disaster Risk Reduction Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting vulnerability assessments, risk mapping, and developing mitigation plans. You will also coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure the effective implementation of disaster risk reduction initiatives. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a tangible impact in disaster risk reduction, leveraging your expertise in GIS, remote sensing, and data analysis.

📋 Tanggung Jawab Pekerjaan

• Conduct vulnerability assessments and risk mapping using GIS and remote sensing tools.
• Develop and implement disaster risk reduction strategies in collaboration with local authorities and NGOs.
• Coordinate with international agencies to integrate global best practices into local disaster risk reduction efforts.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of disaster risk reduction initiatives.
• Provide technical assistance and training to local communities on disaster preparedness.
• Prepare and present reports and briefings on disaster risk reduction activities.
• Participate in disaster response and recovery efforts during emergencies.
• Maintain and update disaster risk reduction databases and records.

🎓 Kualifikasi & Syarat

• Bachelor's degree in Disaster Management, Geography, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in disaster risk reduction and management.
• Proficiency in GIS software such as ArcGIS, QGIS, or Google Earth Engine.
• Experience with remote sensing tools and data analysis.
• Strong understanding of disaster risk reduction principles and practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
